The Herd Hover project aims to examine the complex dynamics of collective and antipredator behavior in wild herds of ungulates in Kenya.

In the field, we use drones to film ungulate groups and create models of their habitat. In the lab we use state-of-the-art computing technologies to automatically extract movement and behavioral data from drone videos.
